During your career, you will probably encounter times where you will doubt what you know to be correct because of the always-changing industry.
There will come a time you will hesitate to contribute you put forward your idea or your knowledge fearing it may be wrong. Doing this means is a disservice to yourself. You’re not learning and you’re not contributing.
Suppose you are not 100% sure start with “As far as I am aware…” if it’s about your knowledge or skill. If it’s related to a fact or news you can add “…but I can confirm to be sure.”
Even if you find out you were wrong, there is nothing wrong with that. Be honest and let the person know that you were mistaken. We are only human after all.
